Radiation Consultancy Services Limited was formed in 1992
to provide quality radiation protection and physics advice
to private sector medical and industrial users of ionising
radiation.
In the years following our formation we have built up an
enviable portfolio of clients that includes in excess of
thirty private hospitals and clinics, 18 UK Airports and a
similar number of industrial clients, including some of the
UK’s leading research and development organisations and
several major airlines.
It has been our aim only to employ Consultant Physicists of
the highest calibre who have the breadth of knowledge
sufficient to meet the detailed needs of our clients. All
of our physics staff have many years of experience working
in radiation protection prior to joining RCS Ltd., and
bring with them an unprecedented degree of cumulative
experience.
We pride ourselves on the relationship we develop with our
clients, enabling them to feel comfortable dealing with us,
often in confidence, on delicate matters of both a legal
and ethical in nature. With so much experience of the
Private sector medical world and industrial radiation
protection, we are able to deal the unique problems
encountered by our clients in a way not often found in the
public sector.
It is always our aim to work with the client on a one on
one basis with each client having a main point of contact
within RCS via a named Physicist, but having access to all
Physicists within their specialty.
2. Laser Protection Advice
For over 20 years, our Pysicists have been providing expert
laser protection advice to medical establishments, both in
the public and private sector.
We have a wide range of experience working with most modern
laser equipment used in Opthalmology, General Surgery,
Plastics and Dermatology and Beauty Therapy.
We can carry out site surveys and risk assessments, provide
laser safety training (Core of Knowledge & LPS) and act
as certified Laser Protection Advisors.
